Electra’s new line of ladies Fashion Cruisers bring a feminine touch to a classic cruiser design.

Color coordinated from front to rear, the bikes feature stylized fenders, grips, chainguards, saddles and frames, all with Electra’s balanced frame geometry that makes them easy and comfortable to ride.  They’re available with Shimano Nexus 3-speed internally geared hubs (which can be shifted without pedaling) or with derailleurs.

Electra is offering four models of the Fashion Cruisers, all of which have Boomerang Hi-Ten steel frames, Shimano Revo twist shifters, coaster brakes, full fenders and an extra large Ding Dong bell.  Shown above is the Peacock, which has cream colored tires on powdercoated aluminum rims w/ stainless spokes and a color-matched seat.  The frame and fenders have a peacock motif, and it’s also available in Chartreuse.

Hit ‘more’ to see the other three models and The Red Betty…

electra-cruiser-fleur-raspberryThe Fleur also has cream colored tires and saddle and only comes in their Raspberry color, but it has a matching colored bell and streamers with a floral motif on the frame and fenders.

electra-cruiser-butterfly

The Butterfly has a butterfly graphic motif spread across the fenders, frame, chainguard, grips and seat.

electra-cruiser-blanc-et-noir

The Blanc et Noir comes in, wait for it… Black and White.  This, obviously, is the black model, and both have colorful saddles and grips with colored rims.  The white model has the same bright saddle and grips, but gets lime rims.

electra-cruiser-orbit-buttermilk

The Orbit comes in Buttermilk (shown), Violet and Emerald. The violet one gets dark purple rims with whitewall tires.

All Fashion Cruisers are $550 and will be available November 2009.

electra-cruiser-red-betty

The Red Betty isn’t part of the Fashion line, but it’s pretty sweet with the leopard print saddle and grips and flame job on the top tube, fenders and chainguard.  You can also get a White Betty and Black Betty, and for the fellas there’s the Rat Rod, and both are available with either 26″ or 24″ wheels.
