This doesn’t directly relate to cycling, but you never know when you might need to do CPR–and knowing how to do it and how to do it properly can help save a life.

Reported on CNN, new statistics have shown that just doing the chest compressions, rather than chest compressions and mouth-to-mouth, helps to minimize interruptions of blood flow through the body and to the brain–tripling survival rates.

Below is a short video to help you brush up on your compression technique, and as the doctor says in the video, you can also take a class from your local Red Cross.
