2010-xfusion-vengeance-rc

INTERBIKE 2009X Fusion has added two new forks and three new shocks to their existing line of mountain bike suspension. New for 2010 are the Vengeance RC fork, above, Velvet RC fork, Vector HLR/ RC shocks, and the 02 RL shock.

The Vengeance RC is essentially the same as the existing Vengeance HLR fork, but only offers external adjustments for low speed compression. In creating the RC model, X Fusion was able to bring the MSRP down $100 from the HLR. It should be available December of ’09.

The new Velvet RC features an external lock out adjustment not used on the Velvet R and should be available March of 2010.

Vector HLR

The Vector HLR is the all new top of the line coil shock providing high-low speed compression adjustment. The new OWC technology allows you to adjust low speed compression without affecting high speed compression and vice versa. The metal matrix material gives the body cap an extra weight saving advantage and is 12% stronger than the normal 6 series aluminum material. The Vector HLR was designed to help their racers get every advantage on the track and should be available to everyone around December of ’09.

Finally some decent graphics from X-Fusion. I always heard good things about X-Fusion, but that old Velvet had cheesy “I-just-learned-Photoshop” graphics. Now the Vengeance fork and the coil shocks look sharp. Whoa.. the Velvet is 3.35 lbs?

If 3.35 is true, i’ll get one. As far as I know that will be the lightest 130mm travel fork with lockout available!
