Fly Bikes has developed a new brake system that makes removal and installation super quick and easy for BMXers that want to ride brakeless at times and with them at others.  Dubbed the Spanish Brake System, it uses a hex screw going into the side of the seatstay to hold the brake arm, and release it when you want it out.
The arm design keeps the spring setting and pad placement, so you don’t have to reset the brakes every time you install them.  The cable guide on the downtube is also quickly removable, as is the lever.  The SBS brakes will be on some of their frames by the end of the year.

Yep, the chainring / chain / sprocket are on the left. Not being a big BMXer (though I do want one!), I had to look this up. There are some serious jerry-rigs out there, but apparently most modern BMX cranks come able to be run left-hand-drive (LHD) or normal (RHD), with the only benefit to running them one way or another is if you grind a lot on a particular side, move the drivetrain to the other side.
