Oh man! Beat out by Tim F by one minute! Congrats, Tim!

I made the decision to double check my answer to The Helmet Lock’s tagline, because it seemed like it could also have been “Keeps your lid secure,” since I saw that one a couple places.

Man, I was totally gunning for that SimpleStrap, too. 🙂 Good job, all! And thanks, Bob!

Hmmm…seems this Question about the Simple Strap and who got on the podium may not be as simple? Quite a few different answers being posted. I’ll be curious to see what happens with this one.

Update to my post above per BikeRumor.com’s content. Jeremy Horgan-Kobelski (“JHK”) had a Simple Strap mounted to his seatpost at the Firecracker 50.

Totally not trying to be a jerk; just aiming for some clarification.

During contest 1, the rule was stated that: “One entry per person…get your answers right the first time. First commenter with all answers correct wins. You must use a valid email address to comment…that’s how we’ll contact you if you win.”

Does that rule continue to apply, or was that for the first contest only? And by “one entry per person,” does that mean the first one chronologically? or the first correct answer? And does “first commenter with all answers correct” mean that the answers have to be correct in one comment? So, it’s an all or nothing kind of thing?

I mean, it’s all good however, I just needed some clarification. Thanks!

I think cheeken has a point. I totally would not have put in an edited second comment had I seen that rule from the first contest (but would stand by my report of JHK’s seatpost placement as per the picture I linked). Even though my post beat his by a minute, it looks like he was the first with all 5 answers correct (or at least the way I meant to submit mine) and deserves the Simple Strap he was gunning for.

Thanks, Tim. But I’m not even sure that solves the issue, though, since some others must have found some other information about the Firecracker 50, and have different responses still.

Dan H. also had Heather Irmiger as a response, and Jace Allbright also added Jay Henry, and Peter Stetina.

But, they have different responses than you or I to the Teko sock question, so if they’re incorrect on those, but more correct than you or I on the Firecracker question, then it would seem, actually, that no one has submitted the correct set of responses yet.

My brain hurts. 🙂

Any chance an editor could check on this thread and just confirm or deny that anyone has gotten the answers correct yet? Maybe we’re just splitting all kinds of hairs in here…
