Lance has won the tour seven times.  Dave Wiens has won the Leadville 100 six times.  This year, as I’m sure you’ve heard, he beat Lance Armstrong while also setting a personal and course record of 6:45:45.  He was also fortunate enough to be the only person to ever hear Lance say he was “done” (well, except for that whole fake “retirement” hoax a few years back…).

Dave is also about seven years Lance’s senior.  So how does he do it?  What’s it like to be Dave Wiens?  Check the story from NY Times, it even has a very artsy video.
