It’s probably no secret that spending some time riding Zwift will result in real world benefits out on the road or trail. I’m living proof – after an injury last year, the program has been a huge help in getting my fitness back to where it needed to be. And while the training simulator will eventually pay dividends if you put in the miles, now Zwift is offering something a little more tangible.

After announcing that they would be searching for the next Canyon//SRAM team member with the Zwift Academy project, the company is teaming up with Canyon yet again. This time it’s to offer a Canyon Ultimate CF SLX 8.0 to one lucky rider. But this won’t be a simple ‘enter your name here,’ – you’re gonna have to work for it. Specifically, you’ll need to complete the Zwift Canyon Ultimate Pretzel Mission which will take you across 44.8 miles of virtual terrain including 4373 ft of climbing, all without leaving your trainer…

To enter, simply log onto Zwift and select the Pretzel Mission on the left hand side of the workout selection screen. You’ll have to agree to the typical legalese for contests, and then finish the ride by June 26th (23:59 UTC). Everyone who completes the mission will be entered to win one Canyon Ultimate CF SLX 8.0. This might be your most rewarding trainer session yet…
