I’ve ridden the plains several times, I am a little confused about this vantage point. I’m guessing it is a different section of trail since the plains you are much closer to the volcano than this appears.

Joe, I’ve ridding the trail as well and I think I can clear it up for you. That’s Mt. Adams in the background. Mt. St. Helens is out of the frame.

Eric, depending on where along the ride this person is, I think that is St. Helens under the rider :o)
