Follow multi-time Bike Messenger World and National Champion Austin Horse as he tools around New York City on a Bosch-powered Xtracycle Edgerunner 10E to help racers get prepped for the 2015 Red Bull Mini Drome in Brooklyn. Founder of nonprofit mobile bike service Bike Yard,  Austin threads the streets of NY towing a 90kg/200lb trailer in tow thanks to proper use of e-bike tech, lugging gear for the long haul supporting his cycling community and getting more folks on bikes.

Juliana bikes are Going Places in the latest riding short film series. This time it’s off to the Maritime Alps of southern France with Melissa Munro of the Trans-Provence guiding company. Juliana is getting amped for French trail riding with Melissa ahead of the upcoming Mavic Trans Provence enduro race, which starts mid June and is run by Melissa and her husband Ash Smith.

We hadn’t featured the previous Going Places videos from Juliana either, and they are certainly worth catching up on with a diverse menu of trail riding. The series features some of the best mountain bike guides around the world giving a glimpse of their local trails, and of course these amazing women riders are rolling around on Juliana bikes.  This one saw Anka Martin of Housemartin guides showing some choice singletrack from her New Zealand backyard.

The last one from Juliana takes you to Scotland with Aneela McKenna. Her and her husband co-run Go-Where Scotland and have a much different type of trail to share. Certainly a bit wetter, more overcast, and maybe a bit colder, they’ll show you the unique riding of the northwest of Scotland for a true local experience.

Closer Than We Know is the story of two women who set out to ride the Cape Epic and to make a local connection. When they meet a South African student named Olwethu, they discover a profound truth about courage and the power of the bicycle for women opening their horizons. Part of their fundraising to race the Epic and show that women can do whatever they set their minds to, Bud and Lentine funded 50 new World Bicycle Relief Buffalo Bikes working together with Trek and Qhubeka.org.
