Summer 2016 is starting to look better with all kinds of fresh new wearables rolling in. Check out the new slimmed down shorts from Mission Workshop, fun jerseys from Twin Six, and Ekoi’s reversible jacket and vests…

Mission Workshop traversexc-short

Mission Workshop

For those that dig the casual look of baggies but prefer a more secure fit, the folks at Mission Workshop tailored their Traverse MTB shorts down a little in the new Traverse XC Short. Made of a 4-way stretch mil-spec fabric that is quick drying and wicking, the Traverse XC ($165) comes in charcoal or camo print, has dual cargo pockets, an integrated waist belt, and a gusseted inseam.

Twin Six

Twin Six

Always coming up with styles to put some fun in your ride, Twin Six put their own stylish spin on the climber’s and world champ jerseys ($85). The men’s Wound Up mixes things up with the world champ colors and the women’s Polka adds a colorful spin in the hill-climbers jersey. The Polka theme is also available on their women’s bibs ($105) and shorts ($100).

Ekoi

Ekoi

Not since I was privy to a reversible Members Only hand-me-down have I wanted something reversible till I saw this. The Ekoi SL Vest (on sale for $109.90) and LS Jacket (on sale for $125.61) let you choose to be better seen when out in the wild, but when looking like a day-glow fred isn’t needed, flip the sleeves out for a more stylish black shell. Both have their StormShield shell that is waterproof, breathable and flexible.

Amgen TDC

Amgen Tour of California

The Tour of California just finished up, but you can still celebrate by looking like the leader of your choice. Jerseys are by Champion Systems and made from their exclusive CS Tech fabric for superior comfort and wicking. Them men’s (left) and women’s (right) jerseys are available on their web store for $95.

I like those Mission Workshop shorts. Was going to comment on price, but realized they are at least made in the USA.
