Yuba continues to refine their mid-sized Boda Boda cargo bike to make it more capable and appealing to a wider audience. Two new versions introduce heavier duty capacity without stretching it out to the full size Mundo’s dimensions, and a new spec option lets you take it off road, too.

Above, the Yuba Boda Boda Macho gets  WTB rims, tires, grips and saddle, plus an upgrade to hydraulic disc brakes. That makes it trail ready, and its 220lb cargo capacity means you can take just about anything along for the ride. It also gets a simpler but wider SRAM 2×10 group and a stealthy black paint scheme.

The Macho only comes in their Step-Over frame design, which keeps a slightly taller top tube rather than the Step Through’s lower, curved tube. Retail is $2,099.

The new Boda Boda V3 keeps the same basic dimensions as before (and as the Macho), but gets a more urban-friendly build. Compared to Boda’s of before, the new V3 gets a lower, longer rear rack that’ll fit a Yepp Maxi seat and still have room for another child to sit behind it.

The aluminum framed V3 comes in step over and step through designs, uses a 3×8 drivetrain for ultra low gearing under heavy loads, and comes with front and rear fenders. Mechanical disc brakes, wheel skirts and a Yepp mount round out the $1,599 package.
