  • 7th annual Beti Bike Bash adds a second venue in Arizona for 2016 – The largest women’s mountain bike event in the world is getting bigger for 2016. The premier mountain bike Beti Bike Bash heads into its 7th year expanding to a new event in Fountain Hills, AZ, outside of Phoenix and for 2016 the Colorado event will return to last year’s venue in Castle Rock, CO, with both events including Little Bellas girls camps and the VIDA MTB Series. Registration is up now at: Iamathlete.com

Ride-with-NAHBS

Events

  • Ride with NAHBS – NAHBS is just a week away. Get in an early morning workout each day before the show starts. Rides head out from the Sacramento Convention Center for 2 hours each day to get some energy out before standing around all day. The Sunday morning no-drop-20-mile road ride will be joined by Olympian Nelson Vails. Post-ride Nelson will share his story and do a poster signing with the purchase of his “Cheetah: The Nelson Vails Story” with free socks to all come. Rides have already been set up on Strava, Facebook and over at the show’s site. 2016.HandmadeBicycleShow.com
  • Liv Ladies AllRide and Grit Clinics set for 2016 – The women’s inspirational MTB skills clinics and weekend inspire riders to ride more and with more confidence. The two-day clinics aim to take your riding and enthusiasm to the next level. Dates and locales for this year are set up with registration open now:

  • The Janapar Grant to get young people exploring the world on two wheels – Self-proclaimed creative nomad Tom Allen wants to tell us why he wants to support people traveling the world bike. The grant aims to be an annual deal to get an independent traveller out on the bike. This year the grant will provide equipment and mentorship for one young person to set forth into the world on a rite-of-passage journey by bike.
