Emily Batty 1

Ambitions is a four part series by Liam Murphy Films that takes us on a ride behind the scenes with one of mountain biking’s greatest athletes, Emily Batty. Ambitions is one of the best examples we’ve seen expressing the fast-paced life of a professional athlete and Emily’s journey is as respectable as it is inspiring, (and kinda hilarious).

Also downhiller Stevie Smith gets chased by 11 year old Jackson Goldstone at Whistler. If you haven’t seen this kid yet, check him out. Lastly, a meaningful look back on the life of Dave Mirra with a lot of the great footage from his early days…

Ambitions Episode 1 goes back to Emily’s early days where she grew up and the stories are pretty special… especially considering what her brother made her eat when they were kids.

From Oakley, “One Obsession” shows Stevie Smith and 11 year old Jackson Goldstone ripping Whistler at levels that would typically be “not age-appropriate” for this grom seasoned youth. Keep an eye on this kid and move out of his way!

Ride in Peace is a BMX short film by Matt Poteet Films that is a part of his “People are Awesome” series. Ride in Peace is dedicated to the life of Dave Mirra and highlights many of the memorable times in Dave’s life. It’s a good reminder of how the the ripple he made in BMX is now a giant wave many are continuing to ride.
