Note: If you’re looking for a bike blessed by the gods of the highest peak in TW, this one is for sale.

Hi Fred, interested in this route as a regular visitor to TW, only ridden on the roads there so far. Any pointers on where to look, I assumed it’s not the walker’s route to the top? Happy to do this via PM if you prefer.
Thanks
James

I left a few years ago, but I kept a bit of a diary of the rides I did there – http://heresjonny.com/blog/tag/mountain-biking/ … flip through the first few pages. JB

I believe getting inside Yushan mtn area requires a pass. Is it really open to bicycles?
As for the epic riding, same as NengGao trail, Yushan is just an exposed high altitude trail. Scenic yes, but nothing technical or fun on a bike, just dangerous and lacking oxigen.
There’s better riding options in YangmingShan or Kaoshiung
