Gamut has been on the gravity scene for years as a rider owned company that has their roots in chain guides. After years of making attractive, functional guides, Gamut saw a serious boost in product development after acquiring Point One Racing. The combination of the two groups resulted in Gamut branching out into pedals, stems, handlebars, and adding increased functionality to their previous line. Products like the new Trail SXC-HDM which looks to be one of the most adjustable high direct mount chain guides we’ve seen…

In addition to the included shims to space the guide out from the seat tube, the Trail SXC-HDM adds offset plates that allow for a +/- 2º angle adjustment to help match the angle of the seat tube. The entire kit will sell for $60 and there will be a clamp type for standard seat tubes available in the future.

On the ISCG 05 mounting side, the new Trail SXR and XR guards add lightweight protection for a wide range of single ring cranks. Sold with two separate skid plates, one for 28-32t and the other for 33-36t rings, the guards will have a different appearance than these prototypes. The XR keeps it simple with just a bash guard while the SXR adds an upper guide for chain retention.

In addition to their 104 BCD TTr rings, Gamut is introducing both a DMTTr and a spider for their TTr rings for GXP cranks. Available in GXP configurations, the finished DMTTr rings (not available for photo at the time) will have a black hard ano coating and will show up in 2 weeks to a month. Weight is said to be 60-78g in 28, 30, and 32t sizes.

After being absorbed by Gamut, the Point Pedal is finally ready for production with the final version shown here. Offered with either black or raw pins, the pedals will come  in at 295g with four bearings per pedal. Considering the chromoly axle, Gamut is happy with the weight due to the level of durability they offer. The pedals will sell for $169.99.
