900x600-LP-Sensium-400Lapierre is releasing a hopefully not-so-limited edition upper tier run spec of the the full carbon Sensium Lady. The Sensium 400 features the same proven shock absorption technology and women’s specific frame geometry as the Sensium 200 but is wrapped up in a fresh pink colorway and comes with a higher end build kit. Spec is Ultegra 2×11, Mavic Aksium wheels and Michelin tires. The overall component kit is tailored for women’s physiology, featuring appropriate crank length and cockpit spec (38-40 cm wide handlebars, for example), making it a considerate and welcome edition to their endurance road line.

This begs the question: is a women’s race-level road product coming with the same design considerations? Because that would be extremely exciting.

Lapierre Shaper 200 Lady Complete Bike

Joining the racier road bike will be this flat-barred Urban Shaper 200 Lady city bike. Look for this model in shops beginning this February.

For now you’ll need to head over to Lapierre’s UK site for more details on either model.

Magic Aksium wheels are what passes for high end? Pffft. Do they really think women do not know anything about bikes?
