In the dead of winter, as most of us are off of work and at home, mountain bike trail shredding videos hit the sweet spot. But what makes this one even better, is Commencal chose to throw in some crashes and mishaps, as well as a cover of Europe’s “Final Countdown” by a band called The Toy Dolls.

A great promotional video is one that makes you smile, and want to get out on your bike, and Commencal nails it here. Watch away, and dream of dirt after the winter passes.

1. Awesome video; love including kids and families, smiles, etc. good vibes

2. Kazoo thing was funny for first 30 secs (when I thought it was Commencal employees doing it); clever! Funny! Wacky!

3. …then the remaining 2:25…no longer funny…made me want to get a nail gun and do a hard shutdown on my computer monitor. No, really…it was that grating and profoundly annoying.

4. I have a Commencal in my garage. Now I want to run it over with my truck. On purpose. Several times.

5. Seems to be going after 39-49 year old Dad-with-wife-and-adorable toddler-and/or grom who remembers a very forgettable pop song and who’d appreciate a nihilistic British punk / kazoo take on said song…

6. Oh no, wait! Did their Satanic marketing ploy actually work? Aaaarrrrgh! Now, every time i hear this song for the rest of my life, I’ll think of Commencal bikes! (I mean sure, in a NEGATIVE way, but still…). What devious, twisted Marketing genius!
