Markus Storck has been turning heads with his lightweight and uniquely designed frames and components since 1995. Things like brakes integrated into the frame and fork on a standard road bike came about here way before the aero road bike craze. We interviewed him a while back for a two part video series that’s worth a watch (here and here) to see some other interesting tech and concepts he’s developed over the years.

To celebrate, he’s issuing limited edition frames painted with special anniversary graphics across the Aernario, Visioner CSL, Scenero, Rebel Nine and Rebel Seven models, plus the new Aerfast aero road bike introduced at Eurobike. They’ll also sport special component builds and are limited to 200 per model.

All will come with a Storck polo shirt and 20th Anniversary marked handlebar, stem, seatpost and saddle, too, and the higher end framesets will include a Bike.Guard Curv hard case jointly developed with B&W…

None of the builds will be the extremely light dream kits spec’d on the €15,999 limited edition Aernario they built to celebrate Markus’ 50th birthday, but they should be much more affordable.

I had a Storck a couple years ago. I really liked it. So stiff that hitting potholes made the pump fly out of my jersey pocket. It broke and took 6 months to get it replaced.

I had a Storck too – an Absolutist 0.9 – and it was so stiff and unforgiving that I sold it. I firmly believe that a degree of focused compliance makes you faster on real life crappy roads.

In addition, I bent a hanger and it took two weeks to get a new one. The bike would barely fit a large 23mm tire, let alone anything larger. It was a pain from an ownership experience, but was an awesome crit bike. But so is a CAAD9.

Hi Guys,
thanks for your posts. I can´t undestand your comment about comfort of our roadframes!
Storck road frames are for many years some of the most comfort oriented once. In the last 8 years we have won several times Tour test including a comfort test ;-).
Sorry to hear about your hanger, but in Germany we are voted by readers the bike with the best quality and under the top 20 in service out of 200 brands. If you have a service problem with Storck. Please feel free to get in touch with me 😉

All the best

Markus
