The Philly Bike Expo is just a fraction of the size of NAHBS, but it brought out several regional builders that we’ve never seen at the bigger show. Breismeister and Belladonna are two, as is JBryant, who brought along his latest fat tired adventure touring bike.
Above, hailing from Queens, NYC, Breismeister’s steel road bike has a few nice touches, particularly the shapely wishbone seatstay and dropout. More pics below…

The next booth over was Belladonna Cycles, which has been in business for a number of years building basic steel touring bikes and mixtes.
Nice clean cable routing for the rear brake. They made a bit bigger trip, coming all the way from Portland, OR!
JBryant had his new 27.5+ adventure touring bike was very nice in it’s own right. But he had it decked out with custom Apidura Porcelain Rocket bags tailor made to fit the frame. The triangle frame bag bolts into the top and downtubes to keep it and its load stable and secure. Two right side pockets open into larger storage areas, and a left side sleeve fits maps and papers.
Vee Tire Co’s Trax Fatty 27.5×3.25 blow out to about the same diameter as a narrower 29er, giving the bike a few options…
…but it could definitely go fatter.
