Juliana Bicycles, the sister brand of Santa Cruz, is the first manufacturer to focus exclusively on the women’s specific mountain bike market. Their product line spans everything from entry level aluminum hard tails to full carbon wonder machines, and has a unique ethos.

The company is run by and represented by some of the fastest (and bad ass) chicks we’ve had the pleasure of riding with, and they’re looking to expand that family of riders. Whether you’re a high school athlete, established ripper, or industry hack, if you identify with the brand, they invite you to sign up to be part of their Ambassador Program.

Check out all the details after the break..

Juliana Bicycles is currently represented by some of the funnest and toughest female riders out there. We’re looking to grow this family in 2015 by supporting more female racers, ambassadors, and juniors who share the Juliana spirit and are already active within our dealer communities.

Applying is an easy online application process.

All you need to do is determine whether you’re a…

Racer: in pro/elite category and highly competitive at national level.
Ambassador: who guides, coaches, and/or moves and shakes the industry, with a compelling story that shows commitment to your local cycling scene.
Junior: 18 or under and competing in the National Interscholastic Cycling Association (NICA).

“We’re looking for determined women who reflect just how far women’s mountain biking has come, and where it’s going” explains Juliana Furtado, founder of Juliana Bicycles. “Whether you’re an inspirational figurehead of your local racing scene, a motivational leader of group rides and social gatherings or a junior racer who’s enjoying what the NICA scene has to offer, get in touch and tell us about yourself and why you’d like to ride for Juliana Bicycles.”

Successful applicants will join a crew of riders like Anka Martin, one of our top Juliana adventure racers, and Katrina Strand, our Whistler-based coach and mentor to the next generation of shredders.

I like this market trend of high end women’s bikes. Hopefully they can bring back things that makes sense, like 650c wheels on small road bikes.
