Fezzari Brings Cross to the Fore with new Disc Brake, Thru Axle Cyx

Fezzari Fore Cyx

With cross season imminent, Fezzari is showing the production version of their latest bike. First shown as a prototype at Sea Otter, their first cyclocross bike now has a name – the Fore Cyx (siKs). The all carbon frame and fork is equipped with thru axles front and rear to match the disc brakes for a fully modern cross machine.

The bikes will be shipping out mid August, and will be available in a few complete builds including a Shimano 105 group, mechanical disc brakes, and Stan’s NoTubes Grail wheels for $2299! A higher end build will also be offered with Ultegra and TRP Hy-Rd hydraulic discs. Both builds will be shipping with tubeless compatible Hutchinson tires to take advantage of the Grail rims.

Wow it has a tiny little set of metal wheels each one with its very own set of brake calipers!

That looks hot, I don’t care if it’s a Performance brand. They offered a great deal last year in a disc crosser, too. I almost got it.

Forget the Performance comment, my bad. So why not on the website?

@Mudrock: I think you’re confusing Fezzari with Forté. Fezzari sells direct to its customers.

Those are some ugly looking rims.

What will be the price of the higher end Ultegra/hydraulic disc model?

Jeb - 08/08/14 - 8:43pm

This company has potential which is KILLED by that name. Fezzari, ughhh. Literally anything would be better than that.

@ Psi Squared: I think he was confusing “Fore” for “Forte”

K11 - 08/09/14 - 10:41am

@Jeb. agree.

i believe they are a company based in UTAH. the first few times i heard the name i thought of some euro start up making a play on the car brands name- Ferrari. Not a fan of the name either way, but especially since the company is based in UTAH.
