What Do You Think About The Tour? Road Holland Asks…

Topmounter - 07/10/14 - 3:55pm

Not funny, not one bit.

And wow, is that Jonathan Vaughters? My how the mighty have fallen.

David - 07/10/14 - 4:59pm

-> Topmounter. It’s not Jonathan Vaughters. It’s Jonathan Schneider who owns Road Holland. I thought it was hilarious. It’s just a joke and it’s certainly the truth here in America.

at least cycling isn’t the only sport Americans know nothing about…
and that video was funny

I’d have the same responses if someone asked me about college or professional “ball” sports…don’t know don’t care.

Rico - 07/10/14 - 7:14pm

“Is courage a product?” haha perfect.

It’s Florida, “God’s Waiting Room.” What do you expect? One would do better asking about NASCAR.

BikeDawg - 07/11/14 - 8:17am

I liked the roll up to McDonald’s — no Tour De France specials here, just Fifa World Cup…. if only cycling was as popular as Soccer in America! RICHMOND2015 has their work cut out for them!

Adam - 07/11/14 - 8:53am

Could you please Try that somewhere other than Florida!! Come to Colorado.

Reformed Roadie - 07/11/14 - 9:18am

Helloooo Debra.

Sardus - 07/11/14 - 10:45am

I’m really doing my best to find this amusing but it’s not working out, sorry.

AbelF - 07/11/14 - 11:19am

Hello to to the dude after Debora!!!…. I kid, I kid.

Mark - 07/11/14 - 12:29pm

It’s not funny because people are right to not care. cycling is just not a spectator sport. It exists only for those who participate, and that’s just fine by me.

Ed R - 07/11/14 - 12:37pm

Debora FTW!

Pancakes - 07/11/14 - 2:24pm

He’s coming across pretty arrogant, to be honest, and not particularly funny. Not a fan.

David - 07/12/14 - 10:22am

I think some of you are reading way too much into the video. The whole point is that he KNOWS most people don’t care about cycling. He’s making fun of us – not the people he’s interviewing. It’s not like he is asking them who won the Revolutionary War and then trying to expose their stupidity (a la what Jay Leno and some other late night comedians sometimes do). I guess cyclists take themselves way seriously. Who knew.
