Photo submitted by Gary Mendenhall, “Just a shot of my bike taking a break before heading down a stretch of gravel road through the Everglades in Miami-Dade County during the Great Gator Gravel Grinder (The 4G). 84 riders endured brutal hot temps, for March, high winds and pythons!!” More after the break.

We always love to see your photos and would like to show them to the world here on the Pic Of The Day. Send in your photo with a brief description here.

  1. Love the low angle of the shot. It is really the best way to capture the flatness of the glades. Beauty and madness all rolled up into one experience.

  2. When you train in the sun you wear mostly white and dark glasses.

I do 30 miles rides every weekend in florida on a xc mtb 29er.

Wearing black in the hot sun is a fools quest.
