Since we first saw the Morgaw saddle on Indiegogo, the company has been busy getting ready to ship the first designs and now also working on entirely new ones. After winning an IBDC award with the first Morgaw saddle, Martin Moravcik and Slawek Gawlik (MOR+GAW) have set their sights on MTB, Enduro and new road saddles as well as a clever seatpost design that is not only perfect for their saddles but any others as well.

In addition to the original Morgaw, the company will be eventually adding 3 new designs – the Forsage road, Trian MTB, and Trian Enduro saddles. Each is based on the same system as the original saddle which uses a tuneable elastomer sytem between the rails and the shell to add vibration damping as well as a bit of flex to the saddle. Elastomers are available in soft, medium, and hard and join the option of aluminum or carbon rails and hardware colors as customizable options. Once the new saddle shapes are finalized, Morgaw will offer the saddles in just the padded portion if riders want to change their saddle shape without having to replace the whole saddle – perfect for crash damaged covers.

In order to ensure the Morgaw saddle’s durability, samples have been under Filip Polc as as he tackles the urban downhill series in South America.

Saddles will range from 171-202g depending on the design and rail choice, and will use microfiber covers on a nylon glass fiber reinforced shell.

Even the best saddles need a seatpost, so Morgaw has been working on their own. To be available in UD carbon fiber or 6061 T6 aluminum, posts will be available in 27.2, 30.9, 31.6 and 34.9mm sizes.

What sets the Morgaw seatpost apart is a unique clamping mechanism that looks very interesting. Instead of using a single bolt to clamp the two sides of the seatpost together sandwiching plates against the post, the Morgaw post uses two bolts, one on each side of the seatpost. As you tighten the clamp over the saddle rail, the O-sys clamp pulls from the center expanding two wedges into the head of the post. The design should make it fairly easy to change and adjust saddles, while keeping hold with a tenacious grip.

As a bonus, the clamp head features plates that can simply be flipped in order to run round or oval rails.

Like the saddles, the posts will be able to be customized with 10 different colors of clamps.

What exactly makes the Trian Enduro different from the Trian? From the spec sheet I can see it all looks the same.

@AlanM, My first guess was that the Enduro only comes in POC Approved Blue but look closely, seems they differ by 10 grams, 192g vs. 202g.

Nothing says ENDURO!! like a real Enduro Saddle. Legit!
Wait…what?

I asked them the same question…. Answer I got was that the Enduro has slightly thicker padding…

Is “Enduro” and “mountain” two different things? Lol …I just always thought that was a joke.

Thanks for all the great responses to my question! I was trying to ask it being open minded, but I’m glad to see I wasn’t the only person thinking an “enduro” saddle was a bit ridiculous. What the market really needs is lacking is “enduro” tubes and chains. And maybe some lube. Come on manufacturers, get on it!

That saddle clamp design is barely different from the one used on Softrides… hopefully it’s different enough that the outer plates won’t crack. Been machining myself some replacements so I can (at long last) pull that frame from the wall and put it on the road. And might do some production to save other frames from the dump.

I’ve been following this interesting design closely as I need a new saddle at some point soonish. As far as I can see, unless you participated in the indiegogo campaign, this product does not really exist. You cannot purchase it anywhere online, nor walk into a bike shop and buy it. It is pixels on a screen and nothing more.

Great product that will not hit stores.
Have ordered one thru the indiegogo campaign but its coming to a year now and the owner went missing and do not response to any of the contributer’s email now.
There goes our money.

one year since funding on indiegogo (scam central) and nothing. No response from the campaign organisers (fraudsters) in over 2 months, no updates. Their only listed phone number disconnected.

The saddles are shipping. I received my Forsage yesterday, and it’s an impressive piece of kit.

Ordered a delta saddle, hard bumpers and black bits, more than a year ago. No delivery yet, and minimal communication.

Got PART of mine today. Carbon rails look nice, aluminum 7075 color bits look nice, saddle looks nice…the bumper to saddle does not look particularly durable or factory torqued correctly, but the bits have torque specs etched on them. UNFORTUNATELY, they only have a few models to send out. At 6’3″ I ordered a wide Delta saddle and received a narrow Forsage saddle “for now”. The directions from Tawain (good manufacturing there) indicate this will be a free saddle, as we wait for the actual saddle we ordered.

I paid for the wider delta saddle 2 YEARS ago, and still nothing. I think Borat could deliver better. Time for a refund
