Chances are, if you’re spending this kind of coin on a pair of wheels you might be interested in some personalization. Lightweight is answering that desire with a limited time offer for free customization on any of their Meilenstein or Fernweg carbon wheels. More than just some custom stickers or paint however, Lightweight is offering the chance to have your wheels laser-etched with your own words directly on the wheel surface.

Start by choosing from one of three Meilenstein (tubular, Clincher, or the Meilenstein Obermeyer) or the Fernweg tubular or clincher wheels, and then figure out what you want written on your rims. Lightweight even offers the ability to have different text front and rear providing the example: “no pain, no gain.” Whether you’re simply stamping your wheels with your moniker, or some “inspiring” phrase, you limited time to do so – orders have to be submitted by November 22, 2013. Personalization is provided at no extra cost and any orders submitted by Lightweight dealers by the 22nd are promised to be delivered before Christmas. Find a dealer at Lightweight.info.

Puts me closer, but still several grand away from the wheelset AYHSMB deserves. You know, for the haters.

What’s better than $7k wheels. $7k wheels that have next to no resale value!

I thought they were over priced carbon wheels, but now that I see you can write on them, well, take my money. Pretty please. With sugar on top.

Ultraclyde, well said, and dead on.
