The 2014 Nukeproof Mega AM (160mm) and Mega TR (130mm rear, 150mm front) mountain bikes make the jump to 27.5″ wheels.

To fit the slightly larger hoops, the BB drops 13mm, chainstays grow 10mm and the headtube is shortened by 5mm. Geometry otherwise stays the same, which let them keep essentially the same ride characteristics of the 26″ version but get a little better roll over.

Spec wise, both get updated to use the new Rockshox Pike forks and Avid Trail brakes. Both will come as framesets with a Rockshox Monarch on the TR and Monarch Plus on the AM, and as compete bikes. The TR will add an additional spec option, with Pro Spec (shown) coming in at $4,799 and a Comp $3,849. The AM Pro is $5,149 and Comp is $3,999.

They’ll still offer the 26″ version as a frame only.

If you need more travel, their DH bikes remain 26″ for now, but get solid spec upgrades. The Scalp (foreground) upgrades to a Boxxer rather than a Domain fork. Price is just $3,999.

The Pulse Pro gets Avid Trial brakes and a new house brand seat post to drop a bit of weight. It’s spec’d with a Cane Creek Double Barrel coil shock for $6,399. They’ve also added a Comp with a Boxxer RC and Vivid for $4,799.
