2014 SE Bike Expo Dates Announced – More Demos, Brands & Sunshine Planned

2014 Southeast Bike Expo in Conyers Georgia

After a somewhat rainy expo this year, the Southeast Bike Expo has shifted their event into March for weekend of riding at Conyers’ International Horse Park’s amazing Olympic mountain bike trails (and some pretty good roads, too).

With Niner, Trek, Specialized, Giant, Felt, Shimano, Scott, SRAM and 70 other companies planned, you’ll be able to demo all the latest bikes you’ve seen here on Bikerumor…likely more since we know several of those brands have a few tricks up their sleeves for Eurobike and Interbike.

The demo will be open March 15-16 for the general public, plus a free dealer-only day on March 14th. Admission is $10 in advance, $15 at the door. If you’re in the market for a new bike, it’s a great deal. Oh, and there’s races this year, too…

FROM THE PRESS RELEASE: In an effort to provide the ultimate experience for bicycle enthusiasts, Southeast Bike Expo has teamed with Chain Buster Productions to offer two bike races this year. The 6 Hour Southern Endurance Cup Series’ Green Gobbler is an exciting mountain bike endurance race that will be run on the steeple chase side.

The second race will be the first annual Short Track Dirt Crit. This race will start at 6:30 pm and consist of a 1 mile course around the steeple chase field. The course will have a few steep hills and present some challenges for all racers. Both races promise to deliver thrills for both racers and spectators.

Both races will be held on Saturday. The 6 hour race begins at 10:00am and the dirt crit will start at 6:00pm.

Heck yeah! Better start training now. I’m assuming the 6 hour race will have its own entry fees, but what about the Short Track Dirt Crit?
