The 2013/14 Honey Bikes ‘Cross is Boss’ disc brake cyclocross bike paint scheme.

Honey Bikes is offering 20 limited edition ‘Cross is Boss’ cyclocross frames, first come first served, with orders due by June 15.

The steel bikes are available as framesets or complete bikes, with prices starting at $1,895 and $2,995 respectively. Both include Honey’s stem and carbon fork painted to match. They’re available for disc brakes or cantilevers, geared or singlespeed, each with its own unique paint scheme.

The bikes are handmade in the US and are available in 20 different sizes. As a bonus, each bike will come with your choice from three special prizes…

The 2013/14 Honey Bikes ‘Cross is Boss’ House of Orange cantilever brake cyclocross bike paint scheme.

With each bike purchase, you can choose from one of the following:

  • A Limited Edition Honey jersey, in partnership with Rapha Performance Roadwear
  • A tin of Limited Edition Honey Medium-Heat Embrocation, in partnership with Buckler Embrocation, and a subscription to Cyclocross Magazine
  • Honey will sponsor you and pay for three cross races of your choosing

All frames are built with size specific tubing, with 12 distinct sizes for both men and women. Each frame is made one at a time in New England. Bikes will be delivered by August 1. More details on their website.

I wish more bikes came with painted stems (matching the frame’s design & colors)! It looks great!

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder – I think both of those bikes look horrible, including the matching stem. They’re like a Baum gone wrong. :)

Not a fan of the blue/orange paint scheme. But the black/yellow/red isn’t bad.
