Kenda Turnbull Canyon 650B mountain bike tire

Kenda’s Turnbull Canyon tread, named after a popular SoCal ride, gets a 650B size that’s modified from the 29er version we saw at Eurobike.

Sidewall knobs get stiffened up a bit and have a more ramped leading edge. The 29er version will get the same changes soon, too. It’ll be available in late May in a 27.5 x 2.0 in DTC (Dual Tread Compound) in tubed and tubeless options.

They also showed off a prototype of the Slant Six’s 650B size, coming in 2.1 widths. That one’s in the supply chain now…

Kenda Kriterium Endurance road bike tire

Kriterium Endurance is a dual tread 120tpi casing with bead to bead Kevlar Iron Cloak flat protection. On top of that, the tread layer is a dual extrusion with a harder rubber/ceramic/kevlar base layer and firmer rubber on the top. This provides super flat protection while claiming to maintain a supple ride. It’s the training tire for Cannondale team riders. They’re racing on the Kountach.

Coming this fall they’ll have a revised Kommando cyclocross tire with taller, bigger side and transition knobs for better cold weather mud and slush conditions.
