skin sake comfort style chamois cream applicator stick

I’ve tried and liked Skin Sake’s chamois cream. It’s truly different than others, less like a cream and more like an ointment. Goes on thick and says there. Problem is, it also wants to stay on your hands.

Their new “Comfort Style” applicators look to solve that problem by using a twist-up stick that makes usage hands free. Just dial up the desired amount of goop and smear it on you or your chamois. Probably best to apply only directly to a clean chamois so as not to contaminate the rest of the stick, but to each their own.

The formula is a bit lighter than the original, and there’s a girl-friendly version now, too. Same benefits carry over, including being waterproof and offering SPF 30 UVA/B protection. Skin Sake uses no parabens, has antibacterial and antifungal properties to protect road rash and other ailments from infection and sun burn. It also has Balsam Peru, which supposedly helps heal by stimulating new cell growth.

They come in 1.5oz sticks, good for TSA meddling, and retail for 9.99. Once we work our way through a tube, we’ll see if we can’t just squeeze more of the original back into it to reuse the applicator.

The main difference between men’s and women’s formulas is the ladies’ version gets a higher concentration of the Peruvian Balsam and vitamins. If you can get past the packaging, we’d say go for that one.

I could only imagine sensitive skin getting caught in that “applicator.” Shiver.

This packaging would be perfect for leg pit deodorant.

If skin gets caught in the applicator you’re doing it way too fast and way too hard.

Applying liberal doses of chamois cream is every cyclist’s guilty pleasure

I’m with BT on this. With the addition of its the time I get to fondle my junk and not feel guilty. Or less guilty. I don’t know I get carried away down there.

What is wrong with rubbing your junk?

And then giving hi fives to other riders?

Skin Sake does not contain alcohol so it will not burn your skin. It’s also not a chamois cream, but apply a thin layer to your skin. A little goes a long way and will give you the extra protection you need “For All Your Delicate Parts!”
