Seventeen years in, and Chrome is still producing high quality goods for the urban rider.  New this Fall is the Storm Outerwear series.  The collection consists of three pieces, the Storm Cobra, the Storm Field, and for the ladies they have the Storm Pasha.  These jackets have been specifically tailored to deliver a fit that is friendly to the rider while both on and off the bike.  All three are fully-taped 100% waterproof.  I had a hands on with these jackets at Interbike, and the construction quality is solid.

The Storm Cobra is molded after Chrome’s classic Cobra hoodie.  This version makes use of the Storm breathable waterproof technology, maintains the same bike friendly fit of the original, includes pit zips, a two way main zipper to keep you cool when it’s dry, reflective details, and a zippered rear pocket to stash stuff.  Colorways are black or olive, and retail is set at $200.

Two more plus a fun little video past the break.

The Storm Field borrows its design from the M85 military jacket.  It runs the same features as the Cobra, with the addition of synch cuffs.  The cuffs are nice, as you can show the reflective details while on the bike, and hide them while off the bike, allowing you to keep it classy.  Grey is the color, and $250 makes it yours.

For the ladies, Chrome has the Storm Pasha.  This breathable hoodie is based off of Chrome’s proven Pasha hoodie, and like the two above, makes use of the Storm waterproof technology.  It runs the same features as the Storm Cobra.  Colors again are black or olive, and retail is $200.
