Hawley has broadened their house brand offerings with some performance-minded and well thought out products. While they’re still more likely going to sell to newer cyclists looking to shed a few grams on a budget, all of the products look pretty good, a few we wouldn’t mind on our own rides.

The biggest launch for them was a new component line called EIS. It’s made up of handlebars and seatposts in carbon and alloy, plus an alloy stem, all designed in in house. The S9 carbon handlebar has a very nice shaping with a not-too-wide flat top and slight flair to the drops. There’s a good cable groove underneath, too. Bars range from $34.99 to $39.99 for the alloy bars, and the carbon one is $199.

The S9 carbon seatpost has a one-piece monocoque carbon construction with long alloy clamp for good rail support. Retail is $129.99 and claimed weight is 185g for the 350mm x 31.6.

Toba rear racks get a new model with integrated fender and spacers on the bottom to get the height right. Retail is about $49.99.

Their Mega Soft saddles have a performance shaped Ti-railed Sport SL saddle for just $52.99. I didn’t weigh them, but they felt reasonably light for a “comfort” oriented performance seat.

The Evo Anyway stamped alloy bottle cage mounts at any angle, letting set it straight or for side pull on smaller frames. The design won an IF award. Weight is just 24g and they retail for $15.99.

Not shown, new O2 gloves are designed by a former Louis Garneau designer. The Pro level gloves all use Pittards Leather and have large terry panels on the back. All use light padding that’s not too thick. Pricing is just $26.99 on the high end and as low as $17.99 for the Comp version. These, too, looked pretty nice and the price can’t be beat, particularly if you go through a lot of gloves.

All of their house brand items have a lifetime warranty.

Those handlebar photos aren’t very helpful or give them justice. Not that I’ve seen them to report how they look in real life.

Adam Myerson is riding that EIS product on his CX bike. Not too shabby.

Just checked Hawley’s website (Hawleyusa.com) and they didn’t have photos yet of the handle bars except for a few Series 7 Alloy and Series 9 Carbon bars.

I’ve handled the EIS stuff and it seems pretty well made.

Origin-8 has a similar cage, probably made in the same factory. http://www.origin-8.com/?page_id=91&short_code=Articul-8er+Cage&prod_model_uid=7516&cl1=HYDRATION

cage should have holes instead of slots for a more secure mounting.
