Siren Cycles batch frames available for John Henry and Twinzer models

Siren Cycles has just started producing “batch” frames of their John Henry and Twinzer bikes.

“We have not historically built batch bikes,” said Siren Cycles founder and builder Brendan Collier. “I’ve had standard sizes done in the past, which made it easier for people to order, and then we charge more for any changes to those standards. On occasion, I’ve built a couple extra, but never like this.”

“This lets us keep some on the bike shop floor, and it drastically speeds up delivery time to our customers. Now that our bike shop is becoming more and more a part of our life, we just wanted to have some Sirens on the floor to show customers when they walk in.”

“And, as long as you’re anywhere near the middle of the bell curve in terms of body size, these stock sizes should fit you just fine.”

The models were chosen because they’re the best representative frames for those getting into the style of riding they’re made for. They get a number of the upgraded options Siren has available, including a size specific True Temper/Columbus blend tube set, 44mm zero stack head tube, full length cable routing (John Henry only) so it’s compatible with frame bags, a third water bottle mount, sliding dropouts and an internally relieved bottom bracket.

Collier: “They’re good, versatile and resilient bikes, and you can get them in a week or two depending on paint, which is really appealing compared to a month or two for a made-to-order bike.”

The only catch? Collier will only be stocking them in his own bike shop, The Hub Cyclery in Idyllwild, CA. Prices are $1,850 for the Twinzer and $1,625 for a JH. Frames will be on display in their raw state, ready for powdercoating in one of nearly 100 different colors. A single coat is included in the price, a double coat (to get a pearl or candy finish) will be extra.

The Twinzer is a split top tube do-everything bike. The batch frames will be available in Medium and Large initially and will have cables routed under the down tube. Want them internal like this one? That’ll be $125 per cable, please. They plumb a piece of stainless steel tubing inside the frame, which answers why the price.
