Sci'Con Hydrapack Solar Backpack BLue

Sci’Con, based in Italy and offering a range of packs and bike luggage, revealed a couple new products. The hydrapack backpack shown above features a solar panel for recharging mobile devices while riding. Fittingly titled HydraCharge, the pack gets a rechargeable battery that puts out 5v to devices and takes about 4 hours to charge completely in full sunlight.

Made with a nylon/polyester mix, volume is 7.2L and weight is 900g including the Li-ion battery. The power kit features a mix of usb ports to fit iPhones and many other devices. HydraCharge holds 1.5L of beverage and has many compartments throughout to separate gear. In addition to blue, they’re offering them in lava red and charcoal grey. No pricing is set and it’s not on their website. But, they do have a solar messenger and solar back pack currently available.

Sci'Con MTB Aerocomfort Series Bag Open

The Aerocomfort MTB bag is designed for both 29″ and 26″ mountain bikes (and I’d image 650b as well). Total weight is 6.6kg with dimensions measuring 135 cm long, 22 deep and 90 high. Frames are secured in the case at the dropouts and it’ll carry bikes with thru axles up to 12mm and also quick release hubs. A padded handlebar protector keeps the bars from dinging the frame and wheel pockets keep both 29er and 26″ wheels safe and secure. Also, internal pockets hold shoes, helmets and tools. No pricing is set yet, but we’ll update when we find out.

The Aerocomfort MTB rolls on four red wheels and is constructed with a padded nylon fabric and steel chassis.

Sci'Con Frame Bags Handlebar Bags

Sci’Con will also offer three new cordura frame bags – two that mount to the top tube and one that sits on the stem. Two feature transparent covers to view smartphones and hold gear while the Piggy frame bag looks to hold many Butterfinger bars and other essentials.

I am going to fill that piggy frame bag with so many Butterfinger bars. They recommend eating a Butterfinger for every 45-60 minutes. With 7.9 liters of Mountain Dew in that hydration pack I will be ready to roll..
