The secret was out with Tyler Wren winning the Crusher in the Tushars on board a prototype carbon version of these bikes, but Jamis seems to be kicking things off for real with alloy options.

Three models will be offered, all with a 7005 alloy frame and the top two getting a carbon fork. They span the price gamut from just $850 up to $3,900 for the range-topping 2013 Jamis Nova Pro shown above. It’s spec’d with Ultegra Di2 and Shimano’s CX70 bits with Avid BB7 brakes.

Below that (pictured after the break) is the Nova Race with BB7 brakes and Shimano Tiagra drivetrain for $1,300. That’s followed by the Nova Sport with 8-speed Sora and Tektro Lyra disc brakes.

No word on when the carbon version may follow, but we’d guess they’ll test the market with alloy bikes for the first year (although their Race model had discs for 2012, too), then go Supernova on us with composites…
