pinarello x diesel only the brave single speed bicycle collaboration

Italian brands Pinarello and Diesel partnered up to create this Only the Brave single speed bicycle project, to be sold in Diesel retail stores for $1,200 USD.

Featuring a hydroformed aluminum frame with lines that mimic some of Pinarello’s carbon frames, the bike has internal cable routing for the rear brake to keep it clean looking and comes in two colorways: Diesel Green (above) and a totally blacked out version shown after the break…

Of the collaboration, Fausto Pinarello says: “Pinarello and Diesel together: a perfect joint venture, two Italian brands deeply rooted in the same territory… by bike they are just two hours away! We are part of two different industries: they make people feel comfortable and we make people feel tired — but we share the typical Italian creativity and the constant desire to astonish and surprise our clients!”

Distinct looking frame. interesting lines, but $1200 for a bike with no branded components? No thanks.

Without question the ugliest and most pointless ‘collabo’ bike so far.
