Marin Bikes is celebrating their 25th year of making bicycles, and to celebrate, they’re raffling off a Team Titanium 29er mountain bike. From their press release: Everyone is highly encouraged to stop by the booth (at Sea Otter Classic) to pick up their raffle tickets early – supply is limited – Sunday afternoon the Team Titanium 29er will be given away. Bike specs after the break…

Product Info:
The Team Titanium 29er celebrates Marin’s 25 years of dirt with a big-wheeled version of its Ti frame. The frameset offers riders the chance to experience the magic ride quality and durability of titanium with the versatility to swap from a traditional geared set up to single speed via the horizontal sliding dropouts. Each frame comes with two drive-side dropouts for use with derailleurs and singlespeed drivetrains. The horizontal dropouts also allow riders to tune their wheelbase to suite riding style and tire clearance.

The limited production frames feature:
– 3AL/2.5V triple-butted frame
– CNC Machined sliding dropouts with separate single speed and geared sliders
– S-Bend seat and chainstays
– US MSRP of $2199

Magic ride quality of Ti, eh? Frame only MSRP of 2199? No thanks… for that price I’d go custom and I’d go for more of a non-flexy fun machine instead. Something similar to this:
