Mystery Prototype Frame: New Foes Model?

Kyle tipped us off to this photo that is currently floating around the interwebs, and it appears to be a prototype of a new design from an unknown manufacturer. While every guess has been thrown out from Evil, to Tomac, the shock and pivot placement, swingarm, and tubeset certainly point towards a revised, or additional Foes frameset.

While some are speculating that it is a different version of the FXR, my money is on a revised version of the XCT or a new bike altogether with slightly more travel, as the geometry seems a bit more slack than the XCT, yet the whole bike looks a bit less burly than the FXR. Also, it goes without saying that the seat tube either is going to be cut down, or an additional gusset will be needed.  If this is a Foes, then obviously the interesting thing is the lack of the heavily hydroformed top tube and gussets, although the down tube is still fairly shaped.

Then again, it’s entirely possible that this is either an old picture, or frame that will change drastically by the time that it is released.

Only time will tell, but in the mean time, what are your thoughts?

I’m not so sure that’s a Foes. If it were a Foes wouldn’t it have a Curnutt shock instead of a Fox? Not to mention that it doesn’t look like a 2:1 ratio on the travel compared to their current line of frames.
