Far be it from FSA to let the roadies get all the carbon nano-tube goodness and updates, they had more news to share on the Mountain Bike side of their booth.

Above, there’s a new SLK version of the 386 double crank set. It uses a more conventional chainring design then the K-Force Light version to cut costs, but still comes in fairly light thanks to carbon crank arms.  Weight is 678g for 170mm length BB30 w/o bottom bracket. MSRP is $429 for standard and $539 for the BB30 model.

But the double cranks keep dropping price points, plus that Nano handlebar and some additional colors after the break…

There’s also a new Comet level version of the 386 to bring double crank sets to a more affordable price point. 783g for 170 BB30 model. $114 for MegaExo and $179 for BB30. Both have 27/39 and 27/42 tooth gear combos available in 170 and 175 crank arm lengths.

Their Afterburner will be available in a new matte/gloss black color for the BB30 triple ring option. If the color proves popular, they’ll expand it to other BB and ring options. Besides the color, the big difference is the carbon fiber spider that the silver version doesn’t have. $349, available Jan. 1.

New K-Force Light Nano-K flat handlebar in 600mm width. Like the road version, it infuses carbon nano-tubes during the curing process, making it lighter and more impact resistant. Weight is 109g, and it’ll retail for $170.

New white and blue color options in the SL-K line.
