I am amazed at the amount of mountain bikers I talk to (I would consider myself local to Rays at only a 4 hour drive) who still have never heard of it and have no idea what Ray’s MTB is all about, so let me start at the beginning.

In the middle of 2004, Ray Petro turned his dream of a full scale indoor mountain bike ride center into a reality when he opened the first part in the heart of Cleveland Ohio’s industrial district. Each year, as more and more riders learned of the park and riders traveled great distances to ride it, Ray continually improved and expanded the park keeping patrons amazed and excited for more. The success of Rays MTB Cleveland prompted Ray to pursue a second location, this time in Milwaukee Wisconsin. If you haven’t been to Ray’s or haven’t been in awhile, what you find inside will blow your mind. Milwaukee promises to continue that trend and rumors are that it will blow Ray’s Cleveland out of the water – a very tall order indeed.

A word from Eric Schutt:

With the most of the leaves on the ground and a chill in the air, that can only mean one thing…Rays Indoor Mountain Bike Park is reopening!

RaysMTB is proud to announce the Grand Opening of Cleveland  and our our all new Milwaukee location.

The Cleveland location kicks off the season starting this Friday, November the 5th.  Milwaukee is the following weekend starting Friday, November 12th.  See above for complete schedule of activities.

Friday night will be the first opportunity to purchase season passes.  When you purchase your park pass, it’ll come with free raffle tickets for the Saturday afternoon raffle (must be present to win).  Get your chance at the good stuff!  We’ll be giving away killer gear like GoPro cameras, SRAM and RockShox components, Mirraco 20″ bike…and even a new Trek Ticket frame!  Sunday afternoon will kick off our regular BMX nights, starting at 4:00pm.

For a full schedule of the weekends events as well as a list of professional athletes scheduled to appear, be sure to check out raysmtb.com!  See you there!
