All of the packages start off with one of Foe’s hand built frames, made right here in the US of A. Like the 4x above, until just recently with the release of the Foes Hydro DH bike, all Foes Suspension bikes have a 2:1 leverage ratio. The Hydro is the only bike to shy away from that trend, which allows riders to use any 10.5″ x 3.5″ shock on the market. Foes has an entire line of bikes from XC and DJ hardtails, to full suspension 29’rs, XC, freeride and DH bikes.

Once you have your frame picked out, it’s time to outfit it with your choice of suspension front and rear. Obviously, Foes is most well known for their 2:1 suspension design, which means the made in the US Curnutt air and coil shocks are going to be a logical choice. Curnutt has been working with Foes since the beginning making trick custom shocks specifically for the 2:1 frames. However, kits will be available with Fox Racing Shox rear shocks where applicable.

The Curnutt XTD Air is designed to work specifically with Foes suspension frames and features technology previously not found on traditional air shocks. With Curnutt’s unique extra large air chamber, these shocks use much lower pressure than the competition, which promote small bump performance and increase traction. On top of the weight savings of using air as the spring, the 2:1 Curnutt Air benefits from a much higher volume of oil flow, which increases damping consistency due to less temperature fluctuations and allows more precision in external compression and rebound damping adjustments.

Front suspension for the kits will be offered in the way of Fox Forks, unless it is a DH bike. Customers purchasing a DH frame kit will have the option of equipping the Foes F1 XTD dual crown fork. The F1 is build by foes, and utilizes the proven Curnutt XTD stable platform valve technology, and comes in at 8.5 inches of travel. The fork also features a custom Foes/Hadley 30mm front hub available in 32 and 36 hole, with a matching custom Foes/Galfer 8? brake rotor.

Every frame package will also include either a Chris King or Cane Creek headset, a LH Thomson seatpost, a custom Foes CNC headset cap, and your choice of stem. Choose between the Foes CNC’d D-6 stem, or go with a Thomson to match the seatpost, both are great stems, and both are made in the US!
