Felt bicycles F1 road bicycle

Last month, we showed you an overview of Felt’s 2011 lines, focusing on the new additions and big changes. Felt’s lines really shine all the way thru, and you find some impressively spec’ed bikes at a great value, which benefit from all that technology you see in the models above them. Over the next couple of days, we’ll be showing you the detailed lines, complete with photos, specs and MSRPs. Check out the F and AR Series bikes after the jump, and stay tuned all week for details on the other lines.

The sub-14 pound F1, shown above, is the flagship race bike being ridden by Garmin Transitions. Spec’ed with full Shimano Di2 with Mavic Cosmic Carbone Ultimate wheels, it retails for $12,499. A Team version will be available with specs from the team’s sponsors, with a TBA price.

Felt_2011_f2The F2 is essentially the consumer version of the F1, with a slightly heavier frame/fork and Shimano RS80 wheels, but keeping the Di2 with Ultegra brakes and FSA cranks. Adds a little more than a pound to the weight, but drops the price significantly to $6,999.

Felt_2011_f3The F3 sees another change in the frame’s carbon and manufacturing, and switches over the SRAM Red, resulting in a barely noticable addition of weight over the F2, and bring the price to $4,999.

Felt_f4_2011The F4 shares a frame with the F3, but sees a slight change in the fork. Equipped with Shimano Ultregra 6700 and Mavic wheels, it weighs 16 pound for only $2,999.

felt_f5_2011felt_f5_team_2011The F5 will be available in2 versions, regular and Team. Both Shimano 105 equipped, the Team gets 3T bar/stem/post and a Fi’zi:k saddle. The F5 will cost $1,999 and the Team $2,299.

Felt_f75_2011The F75 shares the parts package with the F5, equipped with Shimano 105, but steps into an aluminum frame. For $1,399, you get into this sub-19 pound bike.

The F85 and F95 round out the line, using non-Shimano shifter/brake levers to bring the bikes into a more budget price point. The 10 speed F85 weighs 19.4 pounds at $1,049 and the 9 speed F95 stays under 21 pounds at only $799.

felt_ar1_2011The AR1 tops their aerodynamic road offerings at $8,999, with full Shimano Di2 components and Mavic Cosmic Carbone SL wheels.

felt_ar3_2011The AR3 uses a lower end carbon frame and fork, and get the full SRAM Red treatment for $4,999.

felt_ar4_2011The AR4 shares a frame with the AR3, but drops a level on the fork and comes spec-ed with Shimano Ultegra 6700 and Mavic Cosmic wheels at $3,599.

felt_ar5_2011The AR5 is the “entry” into aero road bikes, at $2,499. It shares a frame/fork with the AR4, but comes with Shimano 105 and Felt’s own designed aero wheels.
