14-year-old Aaron Stannage, son of a stuntman, road an 8 mile wheelie on his mountain bike in an attempt to set the world record. Guiness Records’ officials were on hand to witness the attempt, and they’ll announce whether it’s a record shortly.

Stannage completed more than 90 laps of an indoor track set up at John Charles Stadium in Leeds, listening to Prodigy and Linkin Park while circling the track for more more than an hour.

Check the video on BBC (spoiler alert: it’s not very exciting).

Really? Only 8 miles – pffffff…. I was out for a ride a few years ago, and I came across a guy riding a mountain bike up a hill doing a wheelie, then I rode with him for another 10 miles before he dropped the front wheel.
