Sun-Ringle has finalized the production specs on their new Black Flag and Charger mountain bike wheelsets, and you can see them all by clicking on the images above to enlarge.

The Black Flags are their top-of-the-line, lightweight cross country and light trail mountain bike racing wheels.  The new “SRD” (Sun-Ringle Racing Development) moniker is applied to their lightest wheelset, and it gets their new carbon fiber rim.  The Pro and Expert models in both the Charger and Black Flag lines license Stan’s NoTubes rim technology to provide proven tubeless technology with a wide, low-profile rim.

They have a 29er version in both of these as well (except the SRD Carbon), but the weights shown on the spec sheets above are likely just for the 26″ models.

While we’re still bummed that they didn’t carry forward the ceramic bearings from their previous wheels, they did get a lot of interest from Interbike attendees, so hopefully these wheels will be seeing more action in the aftermarket.

For closeup photos of these wheels, check out our coverage of Sun-Ringle at Interbike here.  If you’re looking for a carbon 29er rim, click here.
