Kona’s recent contest to name their forthcoming full suspension mountain bike was won by Utah doctor Heather Gilbert, a cancer specialist.  The winning name? Cadabra.  The real winner?  Cancer patients.  Or, more precisely, cancer research.

She’s teamed up with Fat Cyclist blogger Elden Nelson, who’s wife is fighting cancer now.  She is donating the new Kona Cadabra to Fatty to raffle off to raise money for the LiveStrong Foundation.  So far, according to Nelson, his site has raised about a quarter of a million dollars so far this year for the Foundation.
